Social innovations in organizations

Social innovations in existing organizations: Theoretical-conceptual problem reflection and empirical secondary analysis (07/2019 - 06/2020)

Research project

As part of a preliminary study funded by the SMWK, the project examines the possibilities and management opportunities of social innovations in existing organizations in the context of social change processes. The Löbau district music school will be examined as an example using existing collaborations and research results. Based on this, obstacles and success factors as well as organizational design opportunities will be explored, empirically analyzed and theoretically and conceptually reflected. On this basis, initial practice-oriented guidelines for actors in the region will be derived, as there is an urgent need on the part of social organizations to be informed and advised in organizational innovation processes.

Project funding

This measure is co-financed with tax revenue on the basis of the budget approved by the members of the Saxon state parliament.
