Doctoral candidates
Supervision by Prof. Dr. Raj Kollmorgen:
- Ms. Cornelia Müller is working towards her doctorate as part of the doctoral project based at the University of Erfurt with the working title: "Fire and firefighting in the 18th and 19th centuries using the example of the Upper Lusatian towns of Bautzen, Görlitz and Löbau", using the cooperative procedure.
- Political scientist Jan Schaller is doing his doctorate at the Institute for Migration Research and Intercultural Studies at the University of Osnabrück on the topic of "Balance of power within the European migration regime: hotspots as places of (informal) negotiation?".
- Social scientist Sînziana Schönfelder is completing her doctorate at the Faculty of Philosophy at Chemnitz University of Technology on the topic of "...understanding that history is in God's hands " - The role of religion in the transformation process in Romania from the 1989 revolution to EU accession in 2007.
- Ms Uhjin Son 's doctoral thesis on "The neo/liberal labour market reforms after reunification - What influence did these events have on the political attitudes of young people in the new federal states" is being supervised by the University of Applied Sciences Zittau/Görlitz in the field of social sciences in addition to the University of Leipzig in the field of political science.

- Psychologist Vera Danielsmeier is completing her doctorate at the University of Bremen in the Department of Education and Educational Sciences on the topic of "Challenges, opportunities and goals of people with Williams-Beuren syndrome - An experience and needs analysis for tailored support services".
