Dear colleagues,
Monique Ritter will provide an insight into the results of her doctorate. The event is intended to have a practicing defense character, so that - after an approx. 30-minute input by Monique Ritter - her focus will be on questions, exchange and criticism.
Monique Ritter conducts research on (everyday) racist practices in outpatient care for the elderly. Her dissertation research focuses on a multi-perspective and multi-disciplinary understanding of the unease she encounters in this context when working with people who are read as Black and/or Muslim. In terms of research method(odology), her work follows grounded theory methodology, in particular situational analysis, in which interviews with care service managers, care workers, care recipients and participant observation were used.
The event will take place on 18.01.2022 from 14:00 to 15:30 and will be moderated by Bernadette Rohlf.
