The TRAWOS Institute’s remit also includes supporting early-career researchers and fostering the exchange of expertise and ideas between academia and professional practice. This requires spaces and formats to facilitate such exchange.
The TRAWOS Colloquium therefore takes place once a month. It is primarily aimed at members and staff of the Institute, as well as students. Current research projects (ranging from research placements to multi-year studies) are presented and discussed, as are current (social) political and academic issues with a regional focus.
Beyond the immediate pressure to apply research findings, this provides an opportunity to develop ideas, receive feedback or forge alliances.
You can find the upcoming dates in the TRAWOS events calendar.
