PERFORMATIVE THINKING SPACE

The beginning or end of conformism? - All about alienation with Prof. Dr. Nadine Jukschat

On October 4, Prof. Dr. Nadine Jukschat took part in a performative discussion as part of the "Leipzig denkt" festival on the topic "Beginning or end of conformism? - All about alienation" took place.

Together with the moderator Friedrich Weißbach (freelance journalist, Berlin), the philosopher Barbara Schellhammer (Munich School of Philosophy), the sociologist Nadine Jukschat (Zittau/Görlitz University of Applied Sciences), the performer/artist Diana Wesser and the audience, the Theater der Versammlung / Center for Performance Studies at the University of Bremen created a joint performative thinking space.

On the stage of the LOFFT Theater in Leipzig, the relationship between alienation, alienation and conformism was explored in three acts and the question was asked as to what skills and conditions we need for a liberating transformation and a fear-free encounter with the foreign.
