On September 16, 2024, the Elite Monitor team accepted an invitation from Carsten Schneider, Minister of State and Federal Government Commissioner for Eastern Germany, to the Federal Chancellery to present the results of the Elite Survey. The Elite Survey is part of the Elite Monitor and aims to record the attitudes, ambitions and perceptions of the German executives surveyed in the elite database. Publications on this topic are currently in preparation and will be available on the Elite Monitor website once they are published.

The presentation was supplemented by a discussion round with a selection of East German managers from business, administration and politics as well as other experts. The event concluded with a press conference at which Minister of State Schneider, together with Dr. Lars Vogel and Prof. Dr. Marion Reiser, presented key findings from the survey to the general public.
