The GENERATIONENDIALOG with the title "Connecting generations: Participation for young and old" sponsored by the Saxon State Ministry for Social Affairs and Cohesion took place from June 22 to 24, 2023 at the university campus in Görlitz.

The TRAWOS Institute participated with a keynote speech on the topic: "Intergenerational justice and its negotiation processes". Cordula Lasner-Tietze, research assistant at the university and member of the TRAWOS Institute, answered the questions:

What is intergenerational justice? Which social developments challenge the different generations to negotiate and how are these processes conducted in the public sphere?

The aim of the lecture was to develop a common understanding of intergenerational justice and, through dialog, to work out differences between and similarities between the generations and outline the basis for a joint dialog.
