A bicycle tour as a meeting place: experiencing the cultural, social and scenic facets of the region together, discussing challenges and strengthening visions for active local participation.
On September 18, the bicycle tour "Peace. Joy. Bike Tour" of the F wie Kraft initiative started in Görlitz. A group of twelve women set off on the 50-kilometre route to Rietschen, accompanied by turquoise "F wie Kraft" flags and high spirits. The tour began with a get-together in the riverside park and led along the picturesque Neisse cycle path. In glorious weather, the participants fortified themselves with ice cream and a dip in the Biehain forest lake before continuing through fields and forests. When they arrived in Rietschen in the evening, they ended the day talking about life in Lusatia. The tour not only offered a sporting challenge, but also the opportunity to exchange ideas, experience the region and strengthen the bond within a committed community.
