The GAT Institute is the scientific sponsor of the opening of the Year of Science 2026/27 and is celebrating its 10th anniversary!
On November 4 and 5, 2026, the Zittau Campus will become a hub for discussions on the future: The opening of the Year of Science 2026/27, Environment Day, and the TGZ side event “Impulses for Tomorrow’s STEM Education” will bring together research, sustainability, and education in a diverse program.
Against this wonderful backdrop, the GAT Institute is celebrating its 10th anniversary. Since its founding in 2016, many projects have been successfully completed. The ongoing projects address topics as diverse as “Resilience and the Mental Health of Family Caregivers” and “Promoting a Self-Determined Life in Old Age.”
Visit the anniversary exhibition in the foyer of Haus Z IV on November 4! Get a glimpse into the institute’s ten-year history and learn more about its applied research during a “virtual tour.”
