In November 2026, as part of the ‘Green Future of the Border Region’ project, another three-day, collaborative, interdisciplinary event with a competitive element will take place:

Our Ideathon is primarily aimed at students from the tri-border region. They are invited to come up with creative solutions, whose outcomes are relevant to sustainable development in the region.
An inspirational excursion is planned for Friday, 6 November, followed by the presentation of case studies: the challenges of structural change in the tri-border region across the fields of economics, technology, social affairs, natural sciences, digitalisation, ecology, tourism and culture.
A 24-hour “marathon” to brainstorm and find solutions, which will be presented on Sunday to a diverse, international jury. (Event language: English)

The best results will be rewarded with cash prizes and the opportunity to present their ideas at the Cooperation Forum in Karpacz in November!

What needs to be done?

2. Spread the word -> to students, potential case study providers, potential sponsors – THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
3. Perhaps even: help shape the case studies, provide mentor input, etc.
